Sometimes it can be difficult to balance all of the obligations and commitments that come from having your child in the sport. It can be just as challenging to deal with the emotional ups and downs that come along with all practices and competitions. U.S. Center for SafeSport and USA Gymnastics Safe Sport

The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent non-profit organization that has exclusive authority given to them by the “Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017” and the Bylaws of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee to investigate and resolve possible SafeSport Code violations involving sexual misconduct.

USA Gymnastics Safe Sport is the organization’s department that handles all Safe Sport related matters such as:

• Reports of misconduct;

• Policy violations;

• Education related to policy; or

• Education for the prevention of abuse.

USA Gymnastics Safe Sport Department is made up of 4 specific focus areas: Policy, Education and Community Relations, Auditing and Compliance, and Response and Resolution.

If I have a specific Safe Sport question, who can I reach out to? If you have a question regarding policy, misconduct, or a specific case, you can contact the USA Gymnastics helpline at 833.844.SAFE (7233) or safesportpolicy@ usagym.org. The helpline and email account are monitored during regular business hours and will be replied to as soon as possible.

What is the difference between the USA Gymnastics Safe Sport department and the USA Gymnastics Member Services department? The USA Gymnastics Safe Sport department manages all Safe Sport matters to include policy, reporting, investigation, and resolution. The USA Gymnastics Member Services department manages all matters related to individual membership, club membership, sanctioned events, and educational events or courses. CANCELLATION POLICY

CAMP POLICY:

Olympia Gymnastics is not licensed by the state of Texas.

Viewing Area is closed for safety. Doors are locked for safety from 8:15am-3:45pm.

Call office at 210/826-4296 to be brought into building between the hours of 8:45am-3:45pm.

Camp Cancellation Fee of $50 is assessed when camp is cancelled or transferred at any time. Camps will fill quickly & we do turn students away.

Deposits: Deposits are non refundable and non transferrable.

No Show - If you are registered for a camp session and do not attend for any reason and/or do not notify us that you will not be attending at least two weeks prior to the start of the session, refunds will not be issued.

We have updated many of our gym policies, so customers will need to acknowledge and accept these new policies via the iClass Parent Portal before students can return. Olympia has taken precautions to reduce any contagious illness inside the building to keep our families & students safe. However, as a patron of Olympia, as with any risk, you assume risk when entering or allowing your child into the building.
